The story behind the name…

In New Orleans, the word faubourg is part of our history. Originally a French term for a neighborhood outside a city’s original boundaries, it’s a word that has become closely tied to the places and communities that make New Orleans what it is.

Faubourg Marketing takes its name from that sense of connection. We have a genuine appreciation for the people and businesses that give a community its character. There’s something special about a neighborhood where people know one another, support local businesses, and look out for their neighbors.

It’s that same spirit we hope to bring to Faubourg. More than a marketing resource, we want to be a familiar face, a trusted partner, and an active part of the community we serve. By supporting local businesses and building lasting relationships, we hope to create a little faubourg of our own.

Maci Spahr, MBA

Faubourg Marketing was founded by Maci Spahr, a New Orleans native with a love for her city, its communities, and the local businesses that make each neighborhood unique.

With an MBA and experience in brand development, digital marketing, website design, and creative communications, Maci brings both strategic insight and a creative perspective to her work.

Her passion for supporting businesses and appreciation for the community she calls home inspired her to create Faubourg, where she hopes to make professional marketing support more personal, approachable, and collaborative.
